where would you guys advise on getting an alignment done? I took my car to the dealership for its scheduled maintenance, and was gonna get an alignment. The tech told me that he could not guarantee that they would NOT scratch the wheels, so I said F that nvmd. They are not mustang wheels so maybe thats why they were weary about it. I was gonna take it to sears or thinking maybe to murillo motorsports since they are like mustang gurus, but is it really necessary to go through all this trouble for a damn alignment? plus Mike murillo would prolly laugh at me when i tell them to align my damn v6 mustang, but at least they know what the hell they are doing. Bottom line I need it bad bc Ive had my wheels for like 4 yrs now and never been aligned. My car is all over the damn road borderline dangerous. any suggestions

You should be able to go to any shop that does alignments. Places that do oil changes, shocks, struts, tire rotations, just normal places. They should be fairly common, look in the yellow pages.

 

dude, no place can 100% gareuntee that they won't scratch your wheels. sorry, its the nature of the beast. most places won't intentionally scratch them, but there is the off chance that it'll happen by accident. just got to roll with it.

 

go get your alignment with a set of shitty rims.

Now then, reality check: it's their job. they do it every day. they almost never scratch a rim. they certainly don't try to scratch it. quit being a negative nancy and get your goddamned alignment done. If you want to assure a little extra care, bring a sixer of Sam Adams and give it to the tech. Tell him to be extra nice to your car cuz your a ultra-picky bitch, then leave and come back in a few hours.
