i have an 05 mustang and i hate the ugly 4x4 look it has to it so im looking at lowering springs but my buddy told me that i have to buy a bunch of other crap besides just the springs. is that true or false and if its true what else would i need? thanks for any feed back

CC plates, probably. That's really the only thing I can think of.

 

Depends on how much of a drop you go. 1.5" you can usually get away with just replacing both the shocks and struts. 2" drop will require shocks, struts, and CC plates as well

 

Not sure about the 05 if they need CC plates, but matching shocks and struts are a must.
