Default Odd springs question...

So at the track I raced an 00 GT white like mine, with a 94 5.0 Vert engine swapped into it.... I asked him what his springs were and he said he had the Steeda V6 springs so it would lower it even more...! I didnt know this was possible... he had 18" rims, V6 springs and his engine had the vert reinforcement bar like 2" above the ground... was crazy!

It's just like when people run 4-cylinder Fox springs for drag racing. The reason though isn't for lowering, but for better weight distribution.

you need to figure out what you want to do with your car before you decide on getting any suspension work done.

read R3D's suspension sticky, thats my advice.

Also Steeda does not make a v6 only spring he is just a dumbass who does not know what he is talking about. I'm gonna guess he had the Steeda sport springs which are for all 94-04 GT,v6,mach1,bullit, cobra (non IRS).

werd... what do you want from the car?? it doesn't make sense to give it a drag suspension set up if you are going to go to the track only once a year.

k... going to say it one more time for those that have a hard time finding this quote:

LOWERING YOUR Mustang WITH HIGHER RATE SPRINGS HURTS 1/4 MILE TIMES.

Now then, read my sticky and come back and I'll answer any remaining questions.
