Odd Gear Question

Default Odd Gear Question

So I bought some 3.73 gears with a t-lok off of ebay. I got them for dirt cheap, and the t-lok is new, so I am not too worried about it. I really have no idea about the gears though. Don't know the brand, or if they are new. What is the best way to tell? Attached are some pictures...

mine looked somewhat like that when i got them.

those look a little beat on, but they dont look like they have been installed.

they just look too dry, it isnt easy to get all that oil out of a metal.

im willing to bet they sat in the garage for 5-6 months, but they dont look "used"

Yeah, I figured they wouldn't have the ridges on outsides of the teeth either. Any guesses as to what kind they are? The guy selling them claimed they were FRPP...
