Whatever you do, if you need to slide the parking brake bracket off, don't disconnect the cable by taking the return springs off the parking brake mechanism on the calipers. Trust me, you'll never get them back on.

ummm... how exactly are they going "bad"? I've seen them be all the way bad and all the way good but the control arms are for the most part either one or the other. There is no going on those.

If it's just the bushings that are haggard that's kinda a bitch but nothing really difficult. If the arm is twisted, then it's all the way bad, get a replacement from a junkyard or mpsautosalvage.com .

First things first... tell me exactly how they're going bad. Sorry but sounds like they just picked a big book time job with little actual time required and a cheap part they could mark up hoping you'd pop for the fix right there. Just a thought.

For the record I did a board members RLCA's not too long ago, in an afternoon, while working on 2 other cars too. Left to my own devices with no distractions.. 2 hours to swap them.

By the way, I still got mine when I swapped them out for my MM arms. PM me if you want them.
