having the money to buy every car you can dream of and not being able to drive it has to be the worst punishment ever

He'll have his license back within 5 years. (The article says he can re-apply in 5 years.) Until then he'll just have to ride around in the back seat of his Bentley.

If anyone wants to see a "thug", come drive through Oakland or Richmond. Richmond is usually at the top if not always in the top 5 highest crime cities in the US not to mention one of the higest murder rates.

as much as i HATE how our legal system flaws, everything on how the case turned out due to the plea deal actually came out fair. I HATE people who drink and drive and thats the main concern i had about this, but it was an accident due to the victim jay-walking.

he was getting illegal entertainment
pretty sure you have downloaded a movie offline
ILLEGAL!!!!

michael vick was a guinea pig
dog fighting is hard to stop being that it is so underground
so lets lock up the highest paid nfl player and let people know we are serious about stopping dog fighting or at least pretend to be
SOME people stopped fighting dogs when vick went to jail bc no one wants to spend a year in jail for something so minor and nor do they have the money to fight the case so they will prob spend more time than that
its how the legal system works
there is no lets stop dog fighting task team
its not worth our tax dollars
we are not going to stop every crime

stallworth case has a million variables
they are really not comparable
Did you really just compare illegally downloading a $20 movie to organized dog fighting and animal cruelty? And no I haven't ever pirated movies or music.

He can reappy for his license in 5 years for work privileges only. In 5 years he will be to old to even play in the nfl so i'm not sure what good that will do him. He will have to open a restaurant or something if he feels like driving. Also the full story has come out and stallworth had made it home from the bar safely and taken a nap. He had woken from his nap and was on his way to breakfast when he accidently struck reyes. I think stallworths penalty is more than fair.

other guy-
went out, got drunk, made a bad mistake and drove when he should have called a cab. Accidentally ran over somebody who was illegally crossing the street instead of minding the traffic laws and using the crosswalk. He then called the cops, confessed to the whole thing, paid a huge some of money to the family of the man he killed.

Vick will probably serve less less than a year and then be free and clean.

Stallworth will be on house arrest for 2 years, lose his licence for the rest of his life, be on probation for 8 years, and also have to give 1,000 hours of community service (125 days of 8 hours a day) upon the millions he is paying out to the family, not to mention the guilt he has over killing somebody which he obviously has or he would have just ran.

This guy will still be be paying for this long after Vick has already forgotten about the year or so he ended up doing in jail.

The fact is Vick will be done and over and back to doing what he does in no time. Stallworth will never have a licence again and will be dealing with this far far longer than Vick.

there is nothing to really compare here. if the crimes were similar that would be onee thing, but in this you had intentional killing vs accidental killing. One time accident Vs ongoing illegal dog fighting ring that involves the abuse of dozens of dogs.. And the intentional killing in my view pulled a lot lighter sentance.

this. i keep seeing wars here on the forums between the SAME set of people here. if you have issues, WORK THEM OUT. but do it somewhere else! this is a mustang forum, not a bitching and arguing forum!
