rather funny...

Engine Type--- In-Line 4-Cylinder

Engine Block/Cylinder Head --- Aluminum-Alloy

Displacement (cc)-- 2157 (2.2L)

Horsepower @ rpm (SAE net, Rev 8/04)*----237 @ 7800

Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm) --162 @ 6800

06 s2000 specs...

I swear... it didnt even have the plates yet... A fellow in his mid 30's was drivin it... it came up from behind and we just happened to stop in the neighboring lane...

He looks at me... gives me that look... thinkin he's hot stuff... :loser:

I rev my engine... VRUMMMM... ya kno to let him know that it aint no v-6

but i was a lil worried... that light *** car makes 237 horse w/ an aluminum block so its LIGHT!

i might make close to that but am quite heavier...

WELL

light turned green...

Wow that little turd was quick...

until my tires stopped spinnin...

that was the last i saw of the fellow...

My buddy has an s2000, and even before my gears id eat him alive. gears were put in and its a whole different story...

he was quick... til my wheels stop spinnin... the thing lanched... i on the other hand sat there with my wheels spinnin... when they stopped, i was like a rocket and blew passed... he he :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:

My friend has an 01 stock ran 14.1....

That guy probably wasnt trying or he didnt know how to drive....

And a 94-95 gt runs what 15.2 stock???? My money would be on the s2000 if greg only has the mods in his car domain site and the guy could drive.

Im with ya. before i got my 03 gt i drove a yellow 01 s2000 that my dad bought me.the dude prolly cant drive at all. the s2000 is such a high reving engine that you have to rev it up to about 5 grand then dump the clutch. most of the time people in the s2000 just spin there tires all day long when they try to launch. My S was stock and my friend had a camaro SS and i was hangin with him till we hit about 120 then his ram air kicked in and he pulled away a little. im not sure how some people are sayin they smoked s2000's mine had 240hp in just a 4 banger. the thing's a fuggin rocket. fastest they ever got a S 1/4 was either 13.5 or 13.6 i cant remember, 0-60 was 4.5. but for a stock 4 banger thats awesome. so ive got to back the s2000 it was just an awesome car. a real head turner. the car didnt even start to red line till 9 grand. also 50/50 weight distribution. dont get me wrong, i love my stang. but i would take the s2000 hands down. had to sell the little fellow cuz of 9/11. pops flew for Delta.

actullay an s200o is reall not even close... gts arre about 1 to .5 quicker to 60 and 1-2sec quicker in the quarter so no its that close

like i said... from the factory they have good horse and are light as ****...

i swear... it still had the dealer paper tags in the windows...

to tell the truth i had a feelin that i'd lose but i ran any how and... idk if he was a bad driver... or if the car was ****ed... or if he forgot to put in some of uncle bens in the tank...

but i smoked him... TTFN... never saw him again...
