me vs s2000

Well, I have never seen anyone young in one of these. I also have incidently three neighbers that have small verts. One with a Z-3 and two with Boxters. The one older, single lady with one of the boxters had a Z-3 before that. All of them said they test drove the S2000 while they were shopping. So I guess that would seem to contradict my previous statement a bit, cuz none of them actually bought one - LOL
I know of two S2000 owners around here. One is driven by the manager of our local grocery store. He is a big guy and in his 50's and the other is the wife of a doctor. They live next door to a friend of mine. One is yellow and one is black.
I guess over time and the price drops on these, kids will get a hold of them and who will start to see them get modded just like anyother car.

I have one around me thats pushing 600 plus on 93 octane with the boost turned down a notch...A turbo shop built it from ground up, thing is absolutely beautiful...The guy who owns it knows absolutely nothing about it and is a total *******...Just someone with money!

(OK, maybe I overstated this a bit, but you get the point)

ok so i finally test drove the 05 we have at work and it was pretty cool.
deff a cow under 6k and a lil monster over 6.5krpm.. but it corners better than or close to my dads old zo6...
i also love the shifter and the position of where everything is at from the radio n a/c controls to the shifter to the pedals... easy heel toe...
but after that i kinda felt better about buying the much cheaper mustang cause ..well many reasons but the best one is .......................................torque..... ....

not sure if springs was aimin that towards me, but ill go ahead and answer it for him. besides my dads big block 67 corvette coupe my stang is the only american car thats been in the family. we've always had hondas or other imports( i think its a military thing). and the s2000 was prolly the car i had the most fun drivin. so if your askin what kind of mustang owner i am i would have to say when did i ever say anything bad about the stang. is it cuz i like the S more then the stang. well i also like the 06 zo6 more then the stang also.

Very well said. I'd gladly trade my girlfriend, mustangs and most of my posessions for a c6 zoooh... :shifty:

kids...
Listen boy, your a dumbass if you think a stock s2000 will run a 4.5 to 60... please and without the clutch? Do you belive everything you read? - if he did that then that transmission is fukd... anyway 5.5 and its morelike 5.8 is still a perfect run for a stock s2000. I undertsand you bought one.. and want to tell yourselve that you didnt look like a fa g driving but its the truth... its a girls car to begin with and then it is slow.. get over it stock GTs wax 2000's all day long (and im talking autos) your like one of those taco bellers who drive stock accords talkn a buncha stupid crap the listed 0-60 is 6.3 with fastest recorded being 5.5 (road&track -and an idependent) - the 1/4 time is pretty decent at 14.4 but thats hard to reproduce - also thats not super duper when a stock GTS (driven perfectly like you mentions are capable of 13.4-13.7) so you must have been to IMAFUKINEMORICEBOY.*** to get your info...
