Ram air doesnt do much at all... but since it sucks over the hood it pulls in cold air, i would think, better than most CAI...
at really high speeds it also give a small boost...
I'm not sayin that ram air will get you 30 hp... or even 5hp...
its hard to tell too cause you cant dyno test the ram air to see if it works...
again, i'm not sayin it give high horse power gains but its definately not a myth... i dont peopl would waste time buildin them if they did nothin at all...

But if he says he beat it i believe him but either the s2000 was screwed up, he wasnt trying, or didnt know how to drive.

hey now im backin the s also . it was actually the car i was lookin for b4 i found my stang in whole sale in the back lot of my work....
yea a stock s2000 can prolly beat a stock gt but since we have more torque we can get away with so so driving but the s2000 needs to b driven like a pro cuz of the lack of torque and high rpm hp....
i dunno if im making n e sense to u all

the S2000 is a corner carver. They can run low 14's in the quarter, but they are difficult to launch.
They are about dead even with a 99-04 GT from a roll. I barely pulled on one when I had several bolt ons and 3.73 gears.
a new edge gt should destroy the s2000 from a dead stop. But if the s2000 is launched right, it should about catch up with the gt

the first thing i said was that the numbers were against me...
where i got him the worst was at the launch...
after that he couldnt catch up...
i hit bout 115 when he began to slow...
But I'm a VERY good driver...
he must have been a terrible one...
THE IMPORTANT THING IS THIS
The ricer had his *** handed to him

Dude seriously, dont get to excited, i mean you have a fast car and all and i love stangs but he most likely was not trying, especially if he still had his window sticker on the car, meaning the car wasn't even broken in yet.

You guys are arguing about a car that is practically rare. i bet there are 150 mustangs on the road for everyone one of these. And of those, prolly 80% are driven by chicks. I have yet to see anyone behind the wheel of one of these younger then 55 besides. To me this is what a retired guy buys his wife for their 40th anniversary...just like a Z-3.
(OK, maybe I overstated this a bit, but you get the point)
