lol. i dont have ANY papers due...i havent ha any since first semester freshman year, and im going into my junior year.

This year I had...

One 10 pg paper
Three 5 pg papers

And hopefully I'll be done writing these for a while.

 

No papers since freshman year. So 3 years with no papers

 

Last Semester i had two 20 page papers due..... one of the classes i got a D in so i have it due again this semester But i am gonna be done in two weeks for good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least he let me use the same paper and just make it better.

I never did understand the page requirements... If I can explain the subject well in 3 pages...why the **** does it have to be 5 pages? or 20 for that matter. I never understood that ****.

 

ironically, I'm sitting here staring at a near complete paper of 4 pages. and I still have three to go.

Page requirements are bullshit. A few buddies have a paper due next week and the requirement is 10-16 pgs. Thats an insane difference.

 

thats what I mean...if you can do it well in 3...whats the need for 5? Ill never get it... and I was in honors english all my life. I got A's with 3 page papers that were supposed to be 5 pages. 5 page papers that were supposed to be 10...etc...I just told the tacher.. "read it and tell me if you really think I need to write more pages" thay always said no.

I have to write at 500 word story.

Then i have to write a 750 word response on my 500 word story.

 

I'd hate to write a 10 or 20 page paper over some dumb topic.

I only have to write lab reports, which are papers over experiments that I've conducted over certain periods. We actually have limits on the number of pages, charts, tables, and figures that we can turn in, because I could write a damn book over somethings I do in lab. Lat report was limited to 4 pages, not including figures, the paper was really nearly 6 pages but by shrinking the font and margins I can get it to fit on 4. Get points counted off for being wordy and having "fluff", has to be purely important information.

 

The professor probably doesent give a **** about how long it is, they are just looking to see weather or not you tough it out and do something you consider stupid.

think of it as an exercise on real life in the working world.

trust me, once you get in the professional world you will constantly run into times where you have to do something that is absolutly idiotic.

better get used to it.
