Why?

Why?
What the hell is the matter with people now? I just saw a caprice with that was at least 6 ft tall, had 26" custom wheels and running boards off of a truck. This is about the dumbest thing I have ever seen, and it seems like everyone wants to do it. Why? I see lifting a truck, but why a car?

For the same reason people put 15" datons on a caddy or 20" + wheels on their cars... Someone thought it would be cool and everyone else has too little imagination to think of something origional and coppy them.
I personally think all that **** is stupid.

I also saw a dropped jeep 4x4 with big wheels, but I was gonna let him slide because I don't see a lot of them here (speed bumps and pot-holes rule!), but one truck guy summed it up for me with a little airbruch phrase on his tailgate: "Low riders are for little boys that can't get it up.:

If you ever go to Palatka, which is a few miles from St. Auggie, they have all these donkin' crazy rides but they have themes now.
One is the Pillsbury Doughboy and has him painted on the side. One is M&M's. One is Skittles, etc.
It is ******* ridiculous and cheesy as hell.
I hate Palatka (even though I went to art school there). It is one of those creepy towns in denial and hasn't changed since the 70's. It's one of those towns that you would picture in a Stephen King book or a chainsaw massacre. Ok, rambling, sorry! lol.
