Default BCS smack....

I'll start off by stating that Florida is a lucky BS excuse for a team...they haven't proven to anyone they have a right to be in the Championship...to be considered a national champion you must prove your the best...they never did that...

the other reason is that it would increase the seasons by an extra 3 weeks... and i don't think they wana do that for various reasons...

Nope...playoff would not work. What makes college soo exciting is that there is no play-off. If there were, the entire season would change. Teams woudl just play to be in the play-off and that would be it. Imagine if the OSU and Mich regular season game would have not mattered one bit because both teams would have already gotten play-off spot.

The BSC becomes a big target, but please re-think. Imagine, how NCAA football would change if there were a play-off and I guarentee that you would not like it.

Stop at a 10 game season.

Also it's been over a month since some team's have played now.How fair is that?

Maybe if team's did'nt worry so much about how they are ranked, maybe they would'nt play such soft early schedules.

No way should a #1 team be decided by voting!

yeah but ranking is money for the school... just look at these power house programs... on a **** year FSU regular season home games bring in 10 million to the local community...UF and UM rivalry games can bring as much as 50 million... TV rights and then bowl appearances... that **** is FULL OF MONEY... lets face it thats the driving force behind everything... by god... one Rose bowl is = to Grimmz owning 200 + COBRAS! GIGGGITy!

Well, we know one thing....Michigan doesn't disserve to be there after the *** whoopin USC gave them. I honestly believe that if USC could beat Ohio State if they played the way they did against Michigan.

its possible USC could beat OSU, im not knocking them, but in no way did Michigan play up to there level of play they had all season....that team played like last years 5 loss team not the 1 loss team they were this year.....i think they were beatin down by gettin voted out of championship or just had 2 much time between games or combination of the 2

Yeah, I don't think Michigan played their best, but that's why they actually play the games rather than declare a winner on paper. That is also what makes sports so great I also think Michigan got out coached. It's damn hard to beat Pete Carroll when you give him 3 weeks to prepare.

The only thing that would hurt USC against OSU is Troy Smith. USC doesn't do so well against running QB's....cough cough Vince Young. Although I don't think Troy Smith is as big and strong as Smith, but he'd give USC problems.

As for the BCS. Yeah it has problems, but I'm not sure the playoff system is the best way to go. I'll let people much smarter than I figure it out, but as long as the bowl games bring in as much money as they do there probably won't be a change.
