Default driveshaft loop

anyone ever made ther own loop, i have seen a few and honestly it looks like somthin i could make myself, i have a few ideas in my head about how i would do it personally but i was wondering if any1 else had made one themselves or if som1 had an idea of how they would make one, just so i have somthin to compare my idea to lol..

Might as well buy it since it ain't legal in NHRA races unless it has a SFI number on it.

if you never plan to run on any sanctioned track then it won't matter. You can get a ref to inspect and sign off on it. They'll affix a sticker and you'll be good to go.

they're not hard to make but make sure you use heavy duty enough metal. 16ga sheet metal is not enough.

I have used some thick and wide flat stock to make my own for many race cars. It is not hard to do. I have the main half of a store bought drive shaft loop if you want to buy it and finish it. I just needed the upper half of it. Here is what it looks like:

$20 shipped.

now thats something for me to think about right ther..wouldnt take much at all to finish that. ill think about that for a minute im gonna look into a few other options but that looks pretty good to me
