Unhappy Soon to be unemployed.....

Found out today that my terminal is closing August 1st, 2 weeks shy of my 1 year anniversary. Drivers were notified today at noon. They offered transfers to everyone, but you must relocate.

Good news is, I have a CDL license and can get a job within 24 hours or so.
Already got an application in with a new company and should know something Monday morning.

It is STILL a thought. The nice thing is now, if I go with this company or any other, one of the prerequisites is when I get my own truck, I can haul freight for the company I will already be working for.

Yeah, tell me about it. BUT, once I get my own rig, I will finally have job security. It will be a lot of stress and hard work but knowing I cant be laid off ever again would be worth it.

I just did a search on youtube for "train horn" and saw some funny chit!

Those women jumped out of their shoes when someone blew a train horn in those vids.
