Default heat from car

I have a new 2007 mustang v6 and I have been punching the gas from light to light, etc... and when I have the windows down I feel waves of heat coming into the car, it is also 80's around here in the middle of the day.The heat comes from under the car, should I put in like a Redline stuff in it?

you're abusing the hell out of it but it's not gunna catch fire. It's showing you how hard you're flogging it by letting you feel the burn. That's all coming off your motor.

If you plan to continue driving it to death, then yes... synthetic oils in all 3 spots will help with longevity. Redline, Amsoil, Royal Purple, Mobile 1 are all good options. I like Redline and Royal Purple... Guess I'm easily swayed by odd colors.

really abusing it? It is a mustang, aren't they meant to be pushed. Also the needle says it is in the middle of temp. Have you tried Redline water wetter? I go to college in a cold area would that affect the car when warming up.

IMO I say a stock mustang wont take alot of hammering without breaking or wearing something out pretty quick.

What makes one punch the gas from light to light? Get to the next light and stop while I cruise by as the light turns green with timing. I sure would expect a lot of heat and unnecessary wear on a new engine before 1000 miles. I sure wouldn't be breaking in a new engine with those methods, IMO. Also, your new 07 came with full synthetic oils.

We only have 1 fan which spins faster at higher temps. When your car gets hot it will go into high gear until it cools down again. Notice when you turn on your AC you can hear the fan louder than when its off.
