I got a 05 GT (stang) and i am gonna chip it by thursday. i got flowmasters (full catback w/h-pipe) and a k&n intake.. but i wanna get rid of my flows, and get either bassani or borla.. what other bolt ons can i do to cut another 3/10's - 5/10's of a second on my quarter.. please message me.. i dont want to change my cams yet nor my crank...

Id go with Borla instead of Bassani. You could always remove stuff, or get some better tires instead of doing just bolt ons.

 

you want .5 off your time... slap in a set of 4.10's and use some nice sticky drag radial tires. problem solved.

 

but if i go 4:10. by the time i come off the finish line or hit 5th gear i wont be doing much.. but i guess your probably right, cuz by the time i hit 5th gear i'll probably be doing about a buck 10.. thanx..

 

Why would you be in 5th gear in the 1/4?

 

Screw the chip....useless you at least add a Cold Air Intake. In fact, if you get a CAI/Tune Package on the '05s+ they work real well. Also, 4.10's. Best mod you can do.

 

take the tune... then you'll have one. do a cai, pull the HC filter in the intake, do the gears. you should see really close to 300rwhp. you shouldn't even see 5th gear in a 1/4mi run.
