'95 Mustang GT start up problems

'95 Mustang GT start up problems
My 95 GT just shut off on me while driving on the freeway. As I was slowing down I tried putting it in gear and clutch starting it to no avail. Once I pulled over I got a jump start and the car started but then turned off within a minute. After that it will just crank over but will not start. Anyone have similar problems? Thanks for the help

Could be coil or ignition control module on the distributor. You don't have an alarm, do you?
Check and make sure you have fuel pressure (stick something in the schrader valve on the fuel line while the ignition is on). If it sprays out, then you have fuel and it is a spark issue (which could be coil or ignition control module). I have a buddy with a '95 and he had to replace his a few years back.

If the engine cranks you have bad ignition or coil etc etc etc
if the battery is completely dead ya got a bad alternator
if the batt has a charge but won't crank the the solenoid is to blame

if the engine cranks its not automatically a ignition problem, if the battery is completely dead it doesnt mean your alternator is automattically bad, and the final thing if the battery is charged and car wont crank doesnt always mean solenoid either. there are others things fuel pressure, is the cranksensor working, the second thing you could have something in the car staying on a switch stuck on for something in some system draining the battery, and the last part what of the ignition switch, or the prndle switch for autos or even the clutch safety switch for manuels. theres more possibilities out there than what you stated. just letting you know.
