With Xbox live, how does it work. I mean, I know it's through the internet but can it receive it wirelessly? I have wireless throughout my house, but do not have a hard wire internet connection in my basement.

I bought my system right when it came out and it was extremely hard to find, I stopped in toys r us and found one left, but it was the core not the premium, so i jumped on it and bought it, it already came with a wired one so i just bought another wired one to match i like wired better no batteries and such.. then later on i bought the harddrive...

Well looks like I might be trading. He's offering his regular xbox games, at least $150 in cash along with everything that goes with the Xbox 360 for my laptop. If we trade, I should have it tomorrow since he's going to be traveling through my town.

Next question, I want to be able to play live, so what do I need? I'll have the premium system and a wireless controller.

Also, do I need like a memory card to save games or can I do that with the Hard Drive?

you can save games with the harddrive... for live youll need the xbox live GOLD kit if its not already included for the premium, its a 3 month subscription its comes with a headset and **** for online communication thats around $30 bucks.., also youll need to have a high speed connection, you cant use 56k (dont know why you would want to) and if you have want a wireless internet adaptor if you have wireless internet in the house and want to use it for the 360, I have it and its awesome, that part is $100 bucks xbox live is like $8 bucks a month and worth every penny..

So I'll need the wireless adapter since I have wireless.

And then on top of that, to "Live" it's a subsription???

Ya, youll need the wireless adaptor, and yes its a subscription you pay like 8 bucks a month for it.. you can download a **** load of free stuff demos, game updates, and a lot more... I have mine setup Via credit card so it charges it every month so I dont have to bother with it.. and yes you can use that.. just make sure its for 360 though because the reg xbox and 360 are totally serperate...

I got the vertical stand with a cooling fan, because I had to send my 360 back for overheating issues because it was one of the bad ones, So they sent me a brand new one.. but the stand is sturdy and i've had no problems with disks or disk scratches..

Yep, same thing happend to my G.R.A.W., I turnt the xbox over to watch the controller indicator light change position, and when I took the game out it had a big *** circle all the way around it and wouldn't play past a certain point anymore.

Well got him up to $180 plus all the stuff and some old regular Xbox games.

I'm trying to get him to $200, but regardless, I should have the xbox 360 tomorrow. I'm stoked! I plan on buying the wireless adapter and a subscription with the money. I shoulod be able to do both off ebay for under $80.

Make sure you turn it on and play for a few minutes before you do anything.

Well got it and all hooked up.

Got two wireless controllers now, Tiger woods 06, Burnout Revenge, NCAA Football 2007 and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent.

Bout to order the wireless receiver and a 12 month subscription to live.

What are some good 2 player games that aren't online and that are not sport related?? Like action, shooter type games. Like the old school James Bond Nintendo 64 stuff.

Perfect Dark, great Co-op singleplayer.. also a nasty game with amazing graphics and gameplay my personal favorite is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare probably one if not the best Xbox360 game out, challenging but fun as hell and great co-op missions.. thats just a couple.. look at EBGames.com and go to 360 and just scroll through them theres a lot out.. but these 2 deff my top 2!

Yeh, Ghost Reacon is the about the best game I've played for the 360, and you'll probably want to pick up Gears of War in a couple weeks.
