Default Criminal Justice

Like Greg, I dunno if this goes in politics or what, and sorry if it does..

But his thread on abortion is becoming a threat on criminals..so I figured..why not start one so we aren't spamming up his?

Basically.. my beleif has always been "An eye for an eye"

And in Ron Whites words "If you kill someone, we'll kill you back."

I don't beleive in getting as extreme as the middle east is on criminals. Like a common theif getting their hand or foot cut off..

But I do beleive that giving them many of the luxuries that we pay alot of cash for in the real world is wrong. Such as television.

And it bothers me to see some of the worst crimes get such easy sentences..

Like the 43 year old man that didn't want to be intimate with his wife..but wanted to with the 14 year old girl next door.. and he only gets 15 years.

15 years IS a long time. But lets look back on the damage he caused the girl, for the rest of her life.

It may have been a physical act, but it will screw with her mentally forever.
I don't beleive in rehabilitation for things such as that.. And I don't beleive they should be allowed out into the free world. If someone can't control their desires like that.. how will they ever? Now, I'm not going to lie, when I'm like 25 and little Suzy over there is busting out of her shirt, I'm probably going to look. But acting out on it is something else.

I beleive guys like that (atleast on multiple cases) SHOULD be put to death. And I beleive in a cheap and easier method then lethal injection or whatever.

I beleive in a public hanging. Is it cruel and unusual? It used to not be.
Did people think twice before they did something like that? You can bet your *** they did.

Second, these guys who commit murders who get to sit in prison for the rest of their lives.. its wrong. Yea they are taken away from regular society.. but so was the person they killed. These people still get to sit in a cell, read their Maxim magazines, watch their televisions, and sleep on a pillow at night.

They should be dead, for killing someone else.

Example: Charles Manson is still alive. No, he didn't kill anyone himself, but he laughed about the deaths, and he was the mastermind behind them. Yet every day at San Quentin or Corkorin he walks down the hall, eats, returns to his cell, and watched t.v. and paints or draws or whatever.

A local guy in my town, murdered his entire family. Wife and kids, everyone that was in his home. Yet he still breathes.

Why?

People like this don't do a thing for our society. They leech of us, by taking our money out of our paychecks every week.

Money that could be going to something better, like new roads. (Oh yes, I would LOVE some new roads around here, my poor car is tired of hitting random dips in the road) or fixing things that need to be done in our cities.

Back to these other crimes like..theft, robbery, drugs, ect..

I would honestly whip these people. In Signapore they have public cainings. (Big issues when that US kid did some damage to a car and got thwated a few times a few years back) But their crime rate tends to be alot better then ours.

Wanna know why? Because who in their right mind wants to be smacked in the back with a cain?

Now in my city, we have a gang problem, as does most of Southern California.. I honestly wouldn't mind watching some of these little.. wannabe hardasses getting smacked until they cried. Just to break them.

Yes, it is humiliating, but would they continue doing what they are doing? Probably not. If they do..they are extremely hard headed, and will be beaten straight.

Will someone think twice before stealing that nice watch at the mall? Yes.
Will someone think twice before they decide to try to break into your car to either steal the entire thing, or the system you have in it? Oh yea.

Will someone think twice about going out to the corner of the street and selling that 15 year old kid some weed or whatever? Probably. If not, we'll smack him in the hands till he can't move his fingers for a month.

It sends the criminals themselves a good reminder the next time they go out and want to commit a crime.

And it sends the people who are THINKING about committing a crime a good reminder.

There is also one other thing I would scream for..

Gun laws.. here in california.. its a pain in the *** to get a firearm. But most of the little thugs aroun dhere carry one.

I think it should be o.k. for someone to be able to carry a sidearm with them into a walmart.

No people its not stupid, think about it.

Will you really want to try to rob a store full of people who could potentially all have guns on them?

Cops aren't there when the crime takes place, for the most part, they show up AFTERWARDS.

Inmates who are convited of things like robbery ect have said their worst fear is the armed citizen.

In my state, robbery, theft, and pretty much everything else is bad.

Over in Arizona where people can carry a gun (I think they still can, someone correct me if I'm wrong) Its not so bad.

Who wants to attempt to mug a few people on the street when they could be carrying a gun legally?

Ok, done with my rant. Feedback =)

The prison system is fuxorez good sir. Talk about a waste of tax dollars. Now this may seem cruel harted, but I believe that most of these guys on death row should just be dead already. This obviousely isnt fair to those wrongly accused, but maybe they should be killed after one or two chances of paroll. And those that are in there for drug related crimes... basically get them the **** out if there was zero violence involved. Now, you can argue that there is no threat in doing any drugs to anyone else if the user is not violent, but there is a likilihood of violence in the drug running it took to get that to him... gang violence is fueled by drugs etc. I ****ing hate drugs... it messes everything up and is hard to deal with in courts. I have never smoked anything, or done any drugs.
EDIT: As far as gun laws... I think it shold be ok to carry a firearm YES but I also think it should be pretty hard to do so... I dont know how hard it is to get a license to carry a concealed weapon right now... but it should exclude anyone with a history of violene or mental instability obviousely.

Exactly. I think some of the punishments arent long enough. Major crimes should put you away for life, and the simpler petty crimes are too tough. I believe in capital punishment. Actually I believe in capital torture too for hideous crimes such as raping or killing of children, or dismemberment crimes.

You know how much money the country could save by having some looney wacko dismember people in some sort of encasement? Or throw them all in there and its free-for-all. throw some weapons in for a little fun.

Lol Matt, Corkorin State prison tried that method..

Throw two rival gang members in the same room and lock the door.

And then there was a incident where guards were using some of the guys on the field as target practice..

We should have an express lane made in prisons for the death penalty.. you kill someone, go to the front of the line.

VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY HARD... especially in states like NJ, FL, CA, etc

Texas and similar places are easier... but still hard

You cant just get a permit so you can walk around with a .44 strapped to your leg... you need legit reasons and have no crim record...

If you got a parking ticket 10 years ago theyd probably turn you down

since his was soooo damn long, I'll make mine short:

Capital punishment: believe it's right, no. Believe that while it's legal we should exercise it immediately upon dismissal of the 2nd appeal, yes. I do believe that the death penalty as such should be outlawed. If you can't be returned to proper society, then we'll drop you off in the arctic ocean winter and let the crabs eat your body when it finally gives up the ghost. Then it'll be your own fault if you die... you could'a swimmed to shore. It's only 1000 miles.

Guns: Everyone from 18+ should not only be allowed but every one who can legally purchase a gun should be mandated to carry one on their person at all times. Ever seen an argument break out at a gun show? No! because there's 500 other guys with guns trying to be as polite as possible.

Prison system: Our prison system has totally Failed. First we need to get rid of the class based prison system. Martha Stewart and Jeff Skilling should have/have-had their terms served in the same maximum security hell as any other criminal not at some damned club-Fed retreat with a tennis court. Put a ****** stop to white collar crimes alltogether over-fuggin-nite by giving them 6 months to enjoy being jack-hammered in the doo doo hole with a lawn dart by Jeffery Dahmer. I'm sure crime will dip.

After those three things happen the rest will likely sort itself out in a hurry.

I do believe that inmates are draining our tax dollars to hell. But I as a criminal Justice student I have learned that there are many, many, many factors to consider when setting punishment for an offender. Would it be much easier to kill offenders sentenced to death right away instead of waiting 20 yrs to do it. Yes, I do agree that there are some people that are in prison for life that should be dead. But it's not jsut about that. Hell, I don't think that in this day in age Humurabis code would work so well. I can assure you that some of the people in prison for life, would much so rather be dead than in prison. When you are on lockdown for 23 hrs out of the day and in a closed cell and are only allowed out to recreated with yourself in a small balcony, I'm sure you would wish you were dead after a few yrs. Inprisonment is sometimes the harshest of punishments.

And what was the deal about being able to carry a concealed weapon in public...yeah right..not in texas..

Done.

The aappeals process is bullshit. Yeah, sometimes things dont work out, but either way, the guy is gonna be dead or spending the next 15 years in appeals just to die at the end.

Tried, Convicted, Judged, Sentenced, Executed.

First off, ir yer not gonna make pot legal, then just make it a fine. too maany people in jail for something that stupid.

Hardcore drugs = 5 years mandatory, no chance of parol.

Rape/Tortue/Murder/Molestation = Death.

Too many people in jail. Need to kill some of them off, yeah, personally i hve no problem with the idea of a rapist being killed if it saves me tax money.

No more TV, no more Steak dinners, no more of any of that crap, people seem to forget that it is JAIL, it is a PUNISHMENT. Maybe if it wasnt such a day care people might not want to go back.
we shouldn't kill everyone in the prison...

we should jsut abandon it... gaurd the gates... throw food scraps over the fence... let them suckers do whatever they want... as long as they don't hurt any innocent people...

lol

kinda like a zoo

Your lifes worth
Human mice, for the angel of death
