Default Is Ipod the only MP3 player that ......

can be controlled through a aftermarket head unit. I would really like to hook up my Lyra audio/video jukebox. The navigational buttons on my lyra is damage so i only really use for storage purposes. An FM transmitter wouldnt help me either.

I have a Creative MP3 and when i got my new head unit for Christmas. The guy that installed it ran a cable that I plug into the outlet where my head phones are suppose to go on the MP3 player. Then i have to switch the head unit to an Auxillery setting and i can control my MP3 from the head unit.
