Stripes
I have a 2004 torch red mustang v6 and i was thinking about adding some rally stripes to it, but im unsure of what color stripes i should get, any suggestions?

Here is a pic of a red cobra for sale around here with white rallys.
Getting painted is obviously way cool, but yer gonna loook at a hefty price. i did some checking around and the lowest i got was about 1400 with clearcoat, 800 above clearcoart.
you could always just get the vinyl striping at WWW.rallystripes.com
dont bother with the mustang section, just scroll down the main page and check out the 30ft stripe kits. they come in various width.
The black stang is mine, it has the vinyls. Cost me 40 bucks and a couple afternoons.
Depends on yer wallet i guess.

thanks, i still think having them painted would look alot better , but then again you do have to the price
ill do some more research, not planning on spending anywhere near 1k thats to much for me, heck im not even out of highschool yet

Uhhh... last time i checked Mustang's were muscle cars..... Ive never heared that they are not muscle cars anymore.....
Yeah, they are new, but they have been around since the beginning, and the basic muscle car concept is still there. Small car, Big engine, loads of power, and affordable.....

I am gonna put these bastards on my car. I love stripes!
BUT, Ralley Stripes does not have the right color for me. They are too light as I am putting tan ones on my Black Vert (tan top and interior). I got a sample from Bob White Decals and the color is awesome. It is a very dark tan, so the stripes will be a bit more subtle.
They only come in 6" and 10". I really want 8". I am sure I can get them cut down, but that adds to the work and potential problems.
I am also debating getting my brake calipers powder coated red and then addng the red pin stripes. It could look amazing....or zhitty.
Either way, I will start with the tan stripes and then go from there.
Now back to stripes.....
