Slappy's Interior overhaul stage 1.
Ok, so i had the worst interior. Brown and Tan.
LAME. BORING. SQUIRT SQUIRT.
So im changing it around and diong some painting.
From here you will be able to get the general idea of what im trying to do, there is a line that starts in the bacl, sweeps through the door, then rides up over the console, down under the shifter, then back up over the airbag, rides down the door to the back.
Everything above this line will be black, everything below will be tan. And im going to have silver accents.
This took about 5 hours of work, between removing the panels, cleaning them with achohol. taping them up, and putting on 5 layers of paint.
This has all been Stage 1, the doors.
Stage 2 will be behind the front seats on the side panels, as well as taking the black across the back paneling above the rear seats.
Stage 3 will involve removing my entire dash and finishing the black on the front.
Plus all the dressup items i can get without "over-doing it"
So far i have the gauge cluster aluminim insert, the steeda light ****, turn signal cover, and parking brake cover, and 9mm hollowtip bullet door pins.
Ill start with the BEFORE pics.

It took about 5-6 coats and some touchup, the taping is VERY IMPORTANT or you can really screw things up. i was pretty lucky.
From here you can see how it will stretch to the pack panels, as well as how it wraps up to the front.
I think when this is finished it will look pretty damn slick.
scale of difficulty 1-10? i slap this about a 6.5-7

Checker Auto. Its a brand called duplicolor that is made for this purpose. Im sure you can get the stuff at autozone too. I used silver "Truck and SUV" for the silver parts, and black "Fabric Leather and carpet" paint on the door panels.
Hopefully will get some time this weekend to work on this some more and get the back done.
