Default Need to re wax after Hurricane Katrina

I washed the cars yesterday and I noticed that it did not feel like it had just been waxed. Usually when I put the soapy water on the paint it feels slippery and it did not after storm. I also noticed some stuff stuck on the paint and window which I guess was from the leaves hitting the cars at high speed. Looks like Im going to have to at least clay and wax maybe polish the car again after doing it 4 weeks ago. Has anyone been throught this before after a storm with 80mph winds?

I went through 4 Hurricanes with the car sitting outside when I was stationed in NC.

The wax itself may have been "eroded" off by debris. Not only the leaves, but smaller stuff like dust, bugs, etc. Does the car feel slippery in spots? Kinda like patchy areas of wax/ no wax?
