Default AM head unit lost power

I'm working on a friends 2002 Mustang Convertible V6 with the Mach sound system.

Here is my problem, please help me figure this out, because I'm stumped at this point.

I used this reference when installing the new head unit. (which was great by the way)
https://mustangboards.com/show-shine...-mustangs.html

I hooked it all up, and checked it to make sure it was powering on before installing in the console, it worked. checked all speakers and subs, it worked. Then installed in the console, and it didn't work, pulled it out, and the head unit plug had popped out of the head unit. No problem, put it back in, but it kept popping out due to tension from the wires I'm guessing. After a couple times of that happening, it decided it didn't want to power on all for me.

I checked my wiring, and the 2 of the grounds had come loose, so I fixed that, checked all the other wiring, it was good. Still didn't want to power on. So I checked the radio fuse under the dash and replaced it, it STILL doesn't come on.

It has power, it's grounded, fuses are good, speakers are good, wiring is good. I'm stumped. It came on at first, then now won't. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
