If you don't want a pocket, buy spacers. I'm just showing it's easier, and cheaper, to get a new head unit, than the stuff he is looking at.

 

A $61 head unit is going to be a piece of ****. I would rather spend a little more money for the work around then that. There's a reason that HU is so cheap.

Well for one, I did not change the "Senior Member" status, it has been like that for a while now.

And secondly, I took that offense from Must See personally because I too did not fully read the thread up until that point, but as I said earlier, I was in a hurry. No reason to flame just because you've been here a bit longer than me pal.

Disregard this is you've already posted links to something similar. I'm at my computer at work and it took damn near a minute just to load this page and there is no way I'm clicking on all those links.

 

Yep, trip tunes.. Basically just an FM Modulator, but instead of going only over air it is actually plugged into the antenna.. Decent option, quite a bit of work. There is another company that makes the exact same thing, but it's about $30.. Even at that price I think I'd rather go the PAC route and have something that is hard wired directly to the head unit for the best clairty.

 

you could always get an old skool 98 mustang cd player tape player set up and use a cassette with a wire an play ur ipod that what i used to do lol
