Swaping side scoops?

pull the rear seat and interior trim panels out completely. You'll see the access panels to the scoops behind the first layer of sheet metal inside a bigass pocket. It's stupid easy to pull them out but DO NOT break the clips.

How hard it is to pull out all of the paneling and what not? I've taken out the rear seat, the *** part, but I've never messed with the paneling.

stupid retarded easy. pull the seats, pull the side bits next to the package tray, pull the side panels under the rear side windows. The hangar hook in the back has a screw hidden inside it. I highly recommend an electric screwdriver for those. They're kinda long.

I didn't know what the bullit scoops look like but I looked it up and I want them. They r nice

Um, I seen one at a junkyard with the scoops taken off, they have like cream colored rectangular clip thingies on them. I don't know how I would pry them off. I thought that they would just slide over the right and left side of the actual scoop, but I'm not sure.

What a co-inky-dink... I'm looking for your "ugly" GT side scoops and a GT hood scoop. I have the V6 side scoops.
#22
Then how would you take them off from the outside? I should just go to a junkyard and try to take off one of the V6 side scoops and see what happens. lol

I'm tryn to get the old lady to buy me the bullitt scoops, if she do then I'll let you know like tomarrow. As for the hood scoop that stays til I get the cobra hood.

You pry them off with your hands. If you really need to, lift them up with the edge of a screwdriver GENTLY. It takes alot of force, but the tabs / clips will give way and the scoop will come off. You might need to buy new tabs to mount the new scoops from a ford dealer if you damage them too much. They are made to stay on nice and tight so they dont fall off under high wind resistance, so it will take a good pullin to get them off.
Once they are off, (or if you have replacements ready to be put on) you will see exactly how they work. No need to take apart your interior. It was just a joke.
Good luck.

Hmmm... what does V6 scoops look like without the black insert in them? that would look very similar to the bullitt scoops I THINK im not sure.. NOW im wanting to do my scoops bullitt style. If theres holes or anything surely i could do it with some bondo or filler and smoothen it out then paint over. BUT sidescoops turn out odd colors because of their material.. AAny info?
