Default headlights

Replaced headlights with HID 2003 mustang. Question: Now I need to replace the lenses. I know that I can not use the projection lenses but if I replace with the smoked lense of the regular come with the car lense--will it cut down on the visibility or should I just replace with the clear lense? The smoked does like nice. But more important is seeing at night. Which should do?

There are a few guys on here that have the HID's and the smoked lights. The HID's are bright enough to shine through the slightly smoked headlights. You will still be able to see just fine at night.

This has nothing to do with tech, moving.....

The smoked headlights are not that dark at all, and you will be fine with them. Or you could get the OEM dark ones they sell so you have better lighting.

smoked headlights are like tinted windows. hard to see through on the outside but seemingly transparent on the inside. yes smoked will cut down a little compared to a clear lense.

why do you have to replace your lenses?
