Just curious..

The car they are on is a custom job, so I wasn't sure if the covers were custom as well. I really like how they cut down the large taillights that the S197's have. The only issue with the covers pictured is that they also cover over the reverse lights. I suppose the same affect could be had by tinting/painting a border around the lights, but I think doing the covers would be easier. Anyways, just thought I would ask .

I'm almost 100% certain those are customs...

I would not call them gay. Very interesting. They totally look custom though. Any more pics?

I don't really like the way this car was done.. Somehow looks "off" to me. Anyways, I just want covers similar to the ones they have on the normal tails (not the extra lights that they mounted to the trunk lid.) Like I said, it would probably be possible to achieve the same effect by painting the stock lights, but using covers would be easier.

Hmm, I don't know if your are ever going to find them somewhere, but that car is unique. I don't think I'd even touch my gt500 like that if I had one.

Yeah.. The three things I don't like about it are the weird rear fender bulge you see in the one shot, the extra taillights, and the fact that they kept the stock S197 mirrors. Other than that it's pretty cool. Makes me realize a key retro feature that the S197's lack, which is the ridge along the front fenders.
