Default V6 to Mach1 interior swap!

theres a wrecked mach 1 at my junkyard.. the engines toast becuz thats what made it wreck, sprung oil line and sprayed all over the tires then caused the driver to flip it in the creek while burning out etc. but anyways. im gonna buy it. its totalled on the outside BAD. BUT the insides perfect. JW how hard it'd be to switch most parts out, mainly the gauge cluster.. would MPH read right? or take calibration? help me out!

You'd need to recalibrate it.

Yeah, the MPH and RPM's will be way off. Not sure how you calibrate it, but I'm pretty sure your v-6 doesn't redline at 7,000rpm's like the mach.

its going to be like my tranny swap catostrophe.. YOU WILL HAVE TO GET AN SCT TUNER!!!!!

Ford Stealership says they cant access the sensor on the side of your transmission... Only SCT Tuners can with the handheld...

just forwarning you...

haha well im gonna do it if i can get the car for cheap.. idk what things are good on it,, im sure the engines toast but i could surey find whatevers needed to fix it for cheap.. like crank, rods, and bearings. then ill have a mach 1 setup with 5 speed. but im not worried on engine part. how much would u say a perfect mach 1 interior is worth?

Really all you would get money for is the seats and gauges..maybe the shifter bezel. I'd say $1k tops

Hey Stephen I love your front bumper, where did you get it? and did you get the entire body kit or just the bumper??

and to add to this thread I wouldn't buy that car that was wrecked because technically you will spend more on the car than what you could get out of it, and prolly cheaper to buy the interior your self unless like they said the seats were in good cond. otherwise i would not go for it, just my opinion.

I wrecked the car back in november and geico has an office at are local stealership and they use the FORD collision center.. so after the claim was made and my car was at the shop i called my claims dude at the dealer/geico shop and was like is there any chance you can get a 99 cobra front or 2004 cobra front bumper... he called me back the next day and had a cobra front bumper coming from miami on a truck and that it would not cost me anymore since the claims sheet was already done so it was free and its OEM.. which is nice... he wrote me a 90 dollar check for the left fog light since the other GT fog worked and the front bumper wasnt the same so he wrote me a check and so it cost me 90 bucks to get the fogs from late model resto right after, i tried to get the chin spoiler but he said since its a different front bumper they were not recquired to get the chin for it so i took my old one and sold it.

edit: just front, will get sides and shaved cobra rear is ugly so no, and cobra wing is over priced.

It does really look good, for some reason with the hood with no scoop on it. It almost look like it being pressed down compared to everything else from your sig. pic.

But it looks good, If I could get one or a 99 I would too
