window tint

alright...for my birthday my parents said they would pay to have my windows tinted. what % would be the best bet?
keep in mind i live on an air force base, so the rules will most likely be fairly strictly enforced.

Find out what the max allowed on base is. I wouldn't push the limits there...but if you can, try 15%

yeah i was kind of hoping to do 15% as long as its cool. i just wasnt sure if anybody had anything against 15 for any particular reason

Nope, I believe 15% is one of the most popular because it's dark but (depending on where you are) it's not "too dark".

my old base was the same as our road laws.....if you can clearly see out your windows, your good.

edit: i like 15% too....forgot to add that

I'd go 20% on the front windows and darker in the back.

My back is 5% and it gets really hard to see. My front window's aren't tinted anymore....Michigan is gay.

Got mine done at 15%. Looks great. Id def. check with your base officials first.

yup im gonna check on monday and then get it done...hopefully it wont be something really light, we'll see
