Default Window Tint Question

Aight, so next week I am taking my mustang to get the windows tinted (finally), and I had planned on going the usual 5% that I always do. But then I remembered that the guy I have always used to do my windows did a "custom" tint on his harley F-150. ON the front windows he did a flame job, he did the flames with the mirror tint and then covered the rest of the window with regular dark tint. This guy is good, he actually does murals with tint, and cuts all the pieces by hand!

The question I have is, how does everyone think this would look on a mustang? It will be just on the front windows and the 1/4 and rear window will be all black (5%).

Another option I was thinking, instead of using the mirror tint, use 5% to do the flames and say a 30-35% to cover the rest of the window? I think this would be better looking than mirror considering my car is black. But I still want an opinion on the flames themselves?

Any comments/suggestions? I'm on the fence of all black or flames for something different.....

one more question, the tail light tint? Is the material the same as window tint? If so I am going to get him to do those as well, how do you think flames coming up would look there (that would definatly be a blackout flame and 50% cover).

i personally dont like anything that has flames in the tint, yes the tail light tint is that same but most shops arent able to do it or might charge a lot for it, for cutting the pieces to size, just my .02

Dont go 5%. Its WAY too dark and you cant see out of it at night.

Do 15% to 20%.

Another +1, thats way too dark to be even remotely practical... just do 20%, otherwise your askin to get pulled over...

Add another option onthe poll for OTHER...

I don't know what my tints are, I've tried looking them up online to find the percentage (I first thought they were 50% but its exactly the opposite.)

Mine are so bad I have to roll-down the windows when backing down the driveway at night.

5% is way too dark, I agree with some of the other guys. The lowest I would go personally is 20%. Id like to get like a 25% on mine sometime. personally 20 is too dark and 35 is too light for my tastes.
