Wink Tint

A good tinting shop will hook you up with something that looks good. My shop in Illinois actually put a covering on the exterior of the rear window at the top that blends into the tint on the inside. You can't even tell it's not on the inside. A good shop will have a good solution for that lacquer-on-the-inside problem that a lot of vehicles these days have.

Smile Tint Shops in the SoCal

First of all what is your general vicinity in SoCal, if you live close to Loma Linda than I would say go to City Wheels and Tint or Tint City, they're on Redlands Blvd in Loma Linda. I got mine done at City Wheels and Tint and it looks good, except the strip in the back. Tint City has some kind of product that covers it up and looks good but the guy told me that it doesn't last that long. He said it starts to fade after a while. I've been to atleast 6 tint shops that said theres nothing to cover that up because the dots are made out of ceramic and non-stick teflon!!!!

its the dots on the rear winshield that will give you a problem and around the little windows in the rear that have the dots on the edge is what they are talking about

=(

I know what you mean. I got my windows tinted today and I see that strip across the back and the dots on the back small windows. I got 5% for the backs and 35% for the front. I'm going back to another place that my friend knows and they are going to hook me up and re-tint my front to make it darker. I thought that I would be happy with 35% in the front. I wanted to get 15% and even considered 5% in the front but I got too chicken and went 35. I'm going to make the fronts 5% to match the back.

Is it going to be a bitch to drive at night? I know that after I got the 5% tint in the back I can barely see anything at night through the back...only headlights. If a person were to walk behind my car while I was baking out I wouldnt be able to tell and that would be scary.

Thumbs up Tint

I've got 5% all around, and although it looks really dark from the outside, visibility in daylight or darkness is no problem.
