Default Any suggestions for Street GLOW???

Hey everyone

I'm working on my 93' Mustang LX. I'm putting on finish touch up and it will be done soon. One of things I would like to get suggest on or advice.

I'm planning on put RED street glow lights or neon lights as ya guys call it. ( not for under the car - its for inside the car along the DASH ) Question is - what brand, kind, style or so?

Any ideas, suggest or advice will be great!

Thanks.

I don't know what kind of feedback you're going to get from this. Neon or streetglow below the bottom of a vehicle is illegal in many states, and 90% of mustang owners would sooner be shot dead than found with neon anywhere on their cars. What I think you should do is first talk with a law enforcement official to see if it's legal in your state. Then I'd run over to the Honda-Tech site and post your question there, because I know a lot more of them have done that to their vehicles. It is definitely not a mod that I would ever consider doing for multiple reasons. Also, are you sure you'd like to draw the added attention to yourself? Cops and streetracers alike will steriotype and hunt you down everywhere you go. If you do end up doing it, don't over do it and drive carefully. Obey the law and everything should be alright.

Its illegal in Maryland. I know a few guys that have it around my area but they only turn it on at shows or in a parking lot when a crowd has gathered. Once thing to keep in mind is debris. We all know how the little rocks and stones like to fly up underneath the car. Could make for some shattered underglow lights.

Under dash as in under the steering wheel, or under the dash panels like a new glow for your gauge cluster or what?

In that case, I don't know. Interior illumination isn't really my specialty. I'd google it and see what info or forums you can find that are talking about it and maybe get your info that way.

+1 that's what I was about to say. Oznium offers the best kits on the market. The Cathode Ray Tubes are the best bang for your buck because pretty much everything you need comes in the kit. I'd go with those or the flexible LED strips.

Interior glow is easy. STREETGLOW is good if you want a legit kit. but if your on a college budget like me, you go to autozone <(ugh stupid *** place), buy 4 pilot motorsports neon tubes, go to walmart and buy a splitter and a switch hub, remove some inner panels and drill lights into place, run wire under panels to right side of drivers side where the hub with switch should be mounted. run the hub cable to 12v plugin and instant on/off switch interior glow for about 70$. any interior glow is legal, as long as your not like shining big *** spot lights at people when you drive by lol.

Neon on a Mustang is just dumb in my opinion. No... let's take that a step farther. Neon is ******* worthless on any car.
