Default Bumper doooomd

Well, my bumper is doomed from dead bugs that stayed too long/ones when i purchased the car, and they are there for good, removal doesnt work since it appears theyve eaten the top layer of paint...its still black but you can tell where the bugs died and...stayed :\

its the only thing making my car not look totally amazing (Other than rims and a lip spoiler )

Whats a rough price for a bumper paint or whatever can be done to just restore it?

Was told 300-400$ ... which would be my christmas gift

Also have very few paint chips on my hood but im sure cover-up paint will do for those...

If I were in your situation, I'd sand it down removing the original paint, then calling your local Ford dealer to see if they could paint it for you. The Ford dealer we've got in town is usually pretty good about that stuff, just remember your paint code.
Anyway, that's just one option, and you might want to call before sanding - JUST IN CASE.

I'm sure others might have better ideas.

Don't go with the roush front bumper only, trust me it looks out of place. The whole kit would look good with some Cobra Rs. For your color, an '03-'04 Cobra kit would look sweet with a ram air/shaker conversion.

That bumper is in bad shape and without the use of a rotary to try and do some paint correction I don't see you fixing that by hand.

If only it was that easy...lol

if you look closley (cant in the pics) but in person you can tell the clearcoat or top layer of paint...is gone...its still black but you can tell...

Just need to kno the best solution so I can get this fixed...its the one thing thats makn my 01 look like poo ((Other than needing springs and mach grille delete and lip spoiler))
