Default LEATHER DAMAGE !

i've recently noticed some deep cracking on the lower left side of the seat back on my other-
wise pristine '04 GT that has me concerned.
It is being caused by my seat belt chafing against that one area of my leather drivers seat!
Unless something is done it will wear right through in no time!
Is there any solution/prevention to this problem?
Please help!
Thanks

I've noticed my 04 GT driver seat doing bout the same thing. I think it's just cheap leather. Or pleather as my wife calls it. Dammit, Ford shoulda got that Corinthian leather that made the matador such a sweet car. . I usually try to keep the laeather soft with some armour all leather wipes. You can also buy belt pads that slip on and you can put it where it wont rub the seat. I may try that myself..

I don't have that on mine. only the front of my seats have some cracks. To keep the seats soft and keep the cracks away you need to clean and condition your seats often. I do mine every time I wash and clean the interior. I'm not a big fan of armoral, but its better then nothing.
