Question Anyone used chrome paint on plastic?

I'm wondering if anyone has ever used chrome paint on plastic before and if so, have you liked how it came out? I was thinking about prepping some plastic pieces, including my speaker covers and painting them chrome. Any ideas/pointers?

Will do. I read up on how to do it and if everything works out over the weekend, I will post pictures and steps in what to do. So far from everything I've read, it should be a simple project.

I hear ya. I tried it on a small part and so far so good. I don't expect it to come out like actual chrome, but to save $100 + I might as well try this. Then if it looks cheesy, it's simple to just spray them back to black. I'm just trying the caps around the front side speakers which pop off. Like these...
