It's a 2000, it's very likely you'll need to use a paint cleaner and polish on the paint under the pin stripe.

And to get the stripe off, hair dryer and goo gone.

Do I rub the goo gone on there and then hold the heat on it and it will peel off or do i need a plastic tool to scape it off?

step 1: have the tools- goo gone and a razor blade
step 2: place the razor blade under the front of the pinstripe and try to get it to peal up
step 3: once it is peeled up start pulling it back slowly and try to continue that down the car.
step 4: once it's removed go over it with goo gone
step 5: repeat 1-4 on the ither side.

You may luck out and not have to use the goo gone. I took off some stickers/decals and never needed to use it. It may be smooth sailing..

If its just a sticker pinstripe then the old razor blade to lift it up and get it started will do it fallowed by goo gone to get the glue residue off will work. If its painted on, then your in for a lot of fun. I would wait till your gonna fully wax the car as your gonna want to wash/polish/wax it after using goo gone on the paint. At least your car wasn't covered in pony stickers like mine was. I had 4 large and I mean large like taking up my whole door outlines of horses on both sides of my car and pin stripes on the car when I got it from a SC dealer. Took me 3 hours to remove it all and get the glue residue off.

Well youd be able to tell...if its paint itll be flesh. If its a sticker youll see it raised above. Pretty positive its a sticker though, mine was.

No they were worse and litery covered the whole door with outlines of mustangs running. I have never seen it on any car besides mine before.

Kinda like this but 3 or 4 of them running from the door all the way back on both sides. It was nasty looking. But I saw the potential in my caroline.
