my 00 GT doesnt have the scoop on top... can you just buy a BLACK scoop and bolt it on over the slit in the middle of the hood? if so were can you buy them... Ide like to get the Chin Spoil + Black Scoop+ mach stripe on my white GT i think it would look sharp.

 

i bought my hoodscoop for $180 at an online place and got it painted and put on for 125

 

would u remember the place, i got reffered to a place but i was like 215 for it.

 

FWIW.. it's a big view blocking bastard... you're better off without it.

I hate the thing but it looks cool.

 

I have never had a problem it with blocking my view.

My wife has complained though. She is 5ft.3in.

5'10". I like to be able to see the passenger side fender...gives me a reference point to my path toward the apex on turns and the scoop blocks it perfectly.

 

im too stupid to drive on a track... a hood scoop cant block a straight line.

 

search ebay I have seen them show up pre painted as take offs for cheap.
