Default Hood Scoop

Hey everybody. Glad to be in such a fine forum of fellow Mustang lovers. But Now my question. On the main site, there is a ram air hood scoop system for the V6 Mustang for 99-02 only. I was wondering if there was any way at all to put it on an 03 3.8 Mustang. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can e-mail www.bansheeperformance.com I think they make a ram air system similar to the one you would find on the mach 1 on 99+ v6s. and if not e-mail them and they will gadly help it fit your system

I take it this is an appearence mod?

It will give you almost no improvement....It looks killer, but unless you go with a 99-02 hood for the look, it is not worth it....

its the same as pulling the headlight to let cooler air in, i'm sure it adds a bit of hp when moving, but you cant phiscaly ram the air into the motor unless a power adder is doing it.

No performance gains at all whatsoever? Damnation. Anyways, somehow i thought it would be the hood that would present the problem.
EDIT: Wow, that banshee shaker looks nice... Hmmm, time to save up!

www.classicdesignconcepts.com still makes them if Banshee is out of business, and so does Roush Performancem(they have a shaker package)...I just think they are WAY overpriced for what you get....I know of one person who has this installed, and he won the kit....it looks killer, but it should be price be under $500 IMO...

Yeah I think they are, e-mail them the creators usually will e-mail you back ^^

Yeah the gains are tiny, but it loosk awesome.

Colder Air is good, but technically the Mustangs have CAI already it won't make anything physcially noticable :| Looks mean as hell.
