Default Need Help

I know stickers are not usually a big hit but I am having issues with my badges....and that is one option. I know most of you have noticed and been too kind (lol) to say anything, but my badges aren't exactly centered in the stripe. Been talking to body shops and there's not alot of wiggle room without major work. Any suggestions

Lol..I just noticed that.

If it wouldn't force you to get new stripes I'd just say have the badges shaved, but that'd mean repainted /striping the fender. So uh...I'm trying to imagine how the running pony would look next to the GT emblem, it would help it fill in the width of the stripe, but not sure how it'd look.

Maybe get rid of the gap in the stripe?

been photo shopping a bit

I kinda figured if any one had noticed I would have been busted. Sort of amazed with the eye for detail around here.

You could remove the 'GT' badge from its original position and reposition it to where it centers with the stripe. Or, you could just get the stripes painted a little wider.

Do you know if there is a hole behind the badge? There probably is but if you're lucky and there isn't you could just pop it off and center it. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the stickers.

according to the body shop there is a hole for alignment behind the badge and there is very little room for movement

any thing that would patch the hole would cause me to loose my stripes so i'm trying to come up with something unique to fill in the gap and make it look more symetrical

Just fill in the hole and paint it. Have the body shop do it. Can't cost that much.

for the side with the flying mustang, id leave the gt where it is, get rid of the stampede and place the flying mustang in the bottom left of that space to make like a diagonal with the horse and gt

To fill the hole correctly, it will take welding and heat which will cause my stripes to peal and I really don't want to buy new stripes.

I figured there was a hole behind there. Are your stripes painted or are they stickers?

I did a quick chop of a resolution that could end up a bit cleaner than the horse and stampede text. Just extend the stripes to surround the emblem more.

Wow...that's really giving me some inspiration. The stripes are stickers. I do have some wiggle room with the GT so I could probably work something with this scheme. But any other suggestions are quite welcome.

I would take it back to the dealer and tell them to redo the stripes and make it right. Thats their problem to deal with in my eyes. They should have done it right the first time.

Unfortunately, the dealer didn't do it. I worked with a shop and had the stripes customized for my car, thinking the emblem would be easy to move later. Should have done more research. Now I'm paying.
