taking off factory lower side stripes..

Default taking off factory lower side stripes..

im wanting to take off the factory side stripes and gonna put different ones on. how can i take them them off? if i get a blow dryer and heat them up will they peel off?

Try peeling them off by hand. You'll have adhesive residue left over. Get some Goo Gone and your good to goo, i mean go.

so a hairdryer is a good idea? once it gets heated up it should peel off? the paint wont get messed up will it?

i used a hairdryer and razor blade. held the dryer on the corner of a stripe for about 10-15 seconds, used the razorblade to lift up the corner, then started running the hairdryer down the stripe while pulling it off. worked great. had em off in 10 min.

use some 3M adhesive remover for the goop

Default WD-40

WD-40 works good for an adhesive remover..spray it on the affected area and wipe off the goo...Great for sore elbows too..and not as exspensive as goo b gone.
