have any of you guys ever used paint swirl removers?http://www.superiorcarcare.net/swirl-removers.html i was thinking of trying this stuff what do you guys think?

 

Pinnacle and Wolfgang polishes are weak and dont do much. XMT dusts a lot and doesnt finish well at all. Menzerna is the best Ive ever used. PB also dusts a good bit, but is a decent polish. Some compare 1Z to Menzerna, but I havent used it myself. Dont like any of those Meguiars polishes. I do want to try their #83 though. 3M gets good reviews, but I havent used them. Optimum polish has too many lubricants in it for me.

So which would I go with, Menzerna by far. They can be used with the PC 7424 or a rotary. Good luck.

I have great luck with poorboys ones, but they do dust like Dan says. When i run out i am gonna try something else.

No, they will not permanently damage your clear coat. You might see some marring if you dont break down the polishes correctly. You might get that with SIP, but not likely with Micro polish. But Menzerna polishes break down VERY nicely.

You cant pick just SIP or Micro polish. SIP is meant to remove imperfections, Micro is meant to remove any light marring from the SIP and give the paint an unbeatable gloss. Micro polish will give paint more gloss then SIP.

Dont think you wont see dust from Menzerna, because you will. But its no where near as much as you get with PB or XMT and other polishes.

 

how do you brake down the polish's with water, and whats SIP?

 

Breaking down polishes with water is new to me, never heard of it. SIP= Super Intensive Polish.

Using a buffer, not by hand.
