01-04 stereo in a 99??

if i got the double din bezel is possible to put the 01-04 stereo in? are the connectors the same?

in 01+ they changed to an internal amp in the head unit. you guys have an external amp below your cd player with your mach 460 equiped mustang. im not sure but id guess the wiring is different with that.
