h2s need a big box. Get 1 12 and give it as much space and power as you can.

Have fun trying to fit a box big enough for that sub in! I had one JL 10" in my convertible and it was plenty of bump with the top down.

Look @ it this way...if you want a sound system 2 10's will be more than enough bump for you. Just remember you won't have any sort of trunk space left.

I have two 12's and plenty of space in my trunk, but I have a custom box.

Ur box probably sucks then. Cuz you need a big box to get the biggest bass.

My car had 2 12" Apline Type Es in the trunk when I bought it. They enough even with only a 150 RMS Alpine Mono block driving them. plus the Type E's use less volume it seems, Im in the process of redoing my enclosure to maximize trunk space.

not really...they make subs now that require less space and still hit hard as crap. And sound better than most with a big huge box

Hunt down the specs for the sub(s) and find out its min and max box volume, They can still pound with the lower volume but if you are too low they will hit at a higher frequency usually and you want to avoid that. If you build something with fibreglass you can use less volume and if you want stuffing the box can reduce the required volume as well, although Im not really a fan of it
