Little area on front and back bumper where paint needs fixing.

 

I always use primer, then paint, and then finish it off with clearcoat. You have to sand down the primer to smooth it out. Them put the paint on. Smooth that out with really fine paper like in the thousands. Then put the clearcoat on and finish it off. It takes a while because you have to let it dry before you do anything but it works.

 

if you are using fords touch up paint, for like a small scratch just put some on the end of a tooth pic and apply where needed.

if larger area, not my specialty.

 

Yes, use a toothpick. The bush and the pin that come with the tube of touch up will dump too much paint.

 

Even when applying touch-up to the hard rubber surface of a bumper cover? I need to touch up my rear bumper cover and don't want to f#@* it up. Will the primer/sand/paint thing work on a bumper cover also?

 

tooth pick or q-tips work the best from my experience. that little brush in the bottle sucks.

 

where can i find some touch up primer, E9 Laser Red OEM Paint for 02 GT for touch up, and some clearcoat touchup? basically i have a bunch of tiny little scratches i wanna fix with oem stuff, where should i go to get some? online preferably. Thanks!
