Default slowcharger and pulleys

right now i run a 3.3" 6rib RR pulley on a P1sc .. i have a 2 core intercooler and a WMS boost pipe and i see around 13 PSI on average just after 6krpms.

on a freezing day ill see 14psi

i dont have belt slip except maybe just a little spec of dust flies onto the alternator here and then but just as normal cars would do. the clearance between the alternator and SC pulley are around 1/8" .

anyway, my question is do you think ill get a lot of slip with a 3.1 pulley? are you vortech guys running 3.1 without problems?

i plan on getting a 3.1 RR pulley and shooting for around 15-17psi

i know a guy running a 2.8 on his p1sc and not slipping... he makes 15psi and then his BOV leaks so hes working on that now..

ideas?

(i could always get a manual tensioner/ac delete from RR as well )

I have dust and I'm using a 108 belt, with a 3.4 pulley Dom I don't really think it will slip that bad.

I wonder after I get my motor built what pulley I should switch to. Would a 3.1 be to small if I'm already making 13 psi with a 3.4 thru a 3 core?

maybe a 8 rib to boot. I want to make atleast 15-20psi. I'll see how it turns out after I get my motor built. I'll take it to get tuned and then after awhile I'll swap. R u running the 6 rib right now?

I think they can handle about 550 to 600hp I'm not positive so don't qoute me. If you have a beefed up fuel system you could go bigger with 55's or 60's. I'll probably get the motor rebuilt first see how the tuning goes and work from their. Right now I need a new convertor so if you know of any good deals let me know. Or a differential.

What did they fix on your diff, If I get that how long would it last? I don't take my car to the track that much anymore but will this thing last on the street for about a years+. Depending on If you have it and I can get some new axles.I will be able to deal when I get back in the area around the 20th of March. So try to hold onto it. I'll drive to meet you to pick it up when I get back home.

Also if I'm making 13psi with a 3.4 pulley if I switch to a 2.9 pulley wonder how much boost that will net me. Before I even consider putting the new pulley on my motor it will be forged!

How much is alot of boost I went from a 3.6 making 9 PSI to a 3.4 now I make 13 psi so maybe close to 20 psi LOL.

What bearings are you talking about? So is the Auburn still broken or something? Or the bearings for the axle's?
