Default 2003 S/C Supercharger

i found a 2003 cobra stock S/C on Ebay in the state i live in.

long link is long

with an intake adapter plate, would it fit? how many pounds of boost does it run? what size belt would i have to use? would i have to upgrade to a King Cobra clutch? would i have to cut up my Cervini ram air hood for clearance? would 4 valve heads make the most of the added horsepower, or would the PI heads be enough? how much would an install + dyno tune be at a mustang performance shop that i have over in Pataskala?

Looks like your question has been hanging out there for a few days? There's been a bunch of discussion about trying to get a cobra Eaton on a 2V 4.6/5.4L. The S/C would fit but anything will fit with the right amount of money and time. The expense of getting all the odds and ends to make it work will make it much more cost effective to just buy a dedicated kit specifically for your car from the laundry list of suppliers that will also supply a canned tune and all the supporting doo-dads, decent directions, and company support for questions. Oh, and it would fit under your cervini hood.

They have a kit to bolt it onto PI heads, but its a lot of money to get everything you need to do the swap. Even if you went with 4v heads and gathered all the parts its still a lot of money. And your stock hood is not gonna clear that setup either on an SN95 car. Your better off doing a PI head swap or going 4v and then adding a power adder.

ahhh...thanks for the input, even if only two people posted. i might put my money in the PI swap instead. had to flirt with the thought of a S/C.

yeah def. not worth it, do the PI swap and you'll feel a gain then if you want more get like a vortech/procharger/ or whatever your choice, vortech kits can be picked up for like under 2k
