Default need more fuel!!!

So just got back from psi motorsports today. My numbers are 373/380 with 13 degrees of timing. My focus fuel pump is maxed out. My question is what pump should I buy that will be enough so I can make it to the 400rwhp range. I am going back this friday if I can get a better fuel pump to get a retune...This is also through an auto.

you could get a ford GT pump or you could hook a BAP up to it. those are decent numbers for a automatic.

Ya I was also told my torque converter was slipping and unlocking around 3rd gear and was causeing me to lose power... My tuner told me I need to get a pi multidisk torque converter. With the ford gt pump and a re tune will I be able to make 400rwhp with the stock torque converter?

There are a few things you can do. I am in the same boat as you, though I maxed the pump 420RWHP because I've got a manual. You can upgrade the wire to the fuel pump. Supposedly you lose a 1 full volt running to the pump. I'm not sure how much more this will net.

You can get a Boost-a-pump.

Or what I am gonna do soon I hope, upgrade to a 2003-04 Cobra duel pumps and tank. I think this option would give you more than you need at this point. This also leaves room for further improvement

i made 400 with the stock converter. my tranny got real lazy with WOT shifts so i swapped it out with a performance automatic competition AODE.

you should look into the BC torque converters. once i get my car im ripping out my lentech piece and im gonna send it to those guys for a complete rebuild and re-stall. mine is only a single disk and it unlocks in 3rd gear.

Ya my auto is already lagging at the wot shifts. Whenever I get on it it bounces off the rev limiter. oh well I will just drop a 6spd if it ever goes out on me.

So I ordered a Ford Gt pump and got it installed for $100 bucks and got a retune that I wasn't charged for. Made 370/396...Basically the stock torque converter unlocks in 3rd gear and it stops making power around 5000rpm and just drops... I guess its time for a pi multidisk torque converter and 4.10 gears
