Default need help for Procharger purchase and install.

Hi Guys,

i am from Germany and i will purchase a Procharger system with intercooler and P1SC or D1R head unit for my 95 Mustang GT.

Before the purchase, some questions are to be clarified. That is my first installation of a Procharger system.
It is unfortunately not possibly to be gotten information from the Procharger company. I need a parts list, around to see which am contained in the package.

The first question is: What parts are not included in the kit?
How are the service intervals for Procharger headunits? How is the Quality?
Where do I get service parts? (bearings, seals)
Are the stock injectors and a FMU sufficient?
Has somebody a parts list and a install manual? Where can i find it?

Thanks a lot!

you have a 5.0 so the included fuel pump should be fine. the kit also comes with directions, which suck, but the install isnt too complex. you need 42 lb injectors though. you have to go through a dealer or contact procharger directly for service.

dont know what automotive stores you have over there, but the seals are found in advance auto for like 10USA dollars. Bearings are differ story and procharger does not sell the internal parts really. Sometimes you can get them to sell it, but they try not to. You can send it in for service, but cost a lot.

I have the 42# injectors ford racing for $280.00. This price only for mustangtuning members, and can ship to you if you cant find there.

at the first, thanks for your reply!!!

I ask for service parts, because we do not have any dealer or service station for Procharger in Germany!

Ok, i have at the time installed a high volume fuel pump (75psi fuel @ 6psi of boost),
12:1 FMU, MSD 6AL-BTM. The engine is a little bit modifieded. :laughing4

Are the 42lb injectors not to large?
At the time, i have a 9psi supercharger setup with stock injectors.

I will install the Procharger D1R with 3-core intercooler and a 11 or 14psi pulley!

How are your experiences with the Quality? How are the rebuilt intervalls by procharger?

THX

the d1 is a nice unit. the regular 3core intercooler however is very restrictive. i suggest the sheetmetal race version
