you should get rid of the FMU they are junk and make the car run like crap. A set of 36# or even 423 would be good if you have some future plans of full exhaust and maybe a cam and head work. Also a since you should get rid of the FMu you would need a tune to make the car run well and if you do injectors regardless you need a tune.

Is the car a manual or auto becuase thay mph is very slow im sorry to say. I would be hoping for 106 or higher at the least.

Where do you live at i could help ya find a place that tunes near you?

my vehicle is a manual it pulls good i dont think i am getting enough traction this is my first 5.0 so just trying to do things right the first time i understand putting a larger injector will help if i go with 39 or 42 during tuning do they adjust the injector pulse width to fine tune with the ecu flash so i dont runto rich will this give me room to add with that choice

The tune will let the car run right with 42# or 36# injectors without a tune the car will not run on those injectors or if it does its gonna be very very ruff. The tune will fix your air fuel ratio which i am sure is nuts right now. Plus you will gain more power and have a better running car. Go to http://www.sctflash.com/index.php

and enter your zip code on the right ot find a local dealer for SCT. they can tune the car for you.

thank you for your help i found someplace that will tune my vehicle i will probably go with the 42# . he said something about possibly needing some sort of piggy back set up does this sound correct like i said am new to the 5.0 world. i am not sure if i need this or this is something he is trying to sell me ? i always thought you could just reflash the ecu. well thanks again

well those older ecu in the 93-early cars are tricky when it comes to tuning. SO it might need to be messed with. but i am sure they should be able to handle the changes with a tune.
